Almost 4 years after installing our antique mirror subway tiles, what would today be known as Strip Tiles, we finally got some real photos! This is the installation you m might have read about on our sister site, www.BonitaGlassShoppe.com. On our blog there, I shared the story of the interesting installation I did alongside my younger sister. We installed the tiles with a bottle of wine, late one Saturday night.
The mixed set of tiles turned out stunning! Completed the look of the sleek kitchen remodel she had undertook. We love how the antique mirror looks against white cabinets and those gorgeous white countertops. Wow! The right custom backsplash can really pull a whole kitchen together. I have to add that it is even more gorgeous in person.
Can we talk about those light fixtures hanging from a mirror on the ceiling?!? I will take full credit for that genius idea. My idea, but I sent her on the hunt for a framed mirror that would fit just right. Easier said than done. She did not disappoint. She found the rustic large framed mirror at Home Goods and it goes perfectly with those bar stools from Restoration Hardware. The two glass chandeliers finish the look off perfectly.
